Why did Fantastic four first steps preform so well compared to its previous iteration?

 Out of the two of the Fantastic four movies that I shall talk about only one of them has preformed exponentially better than the rest, and the one is Fantastic Four First Steps. Why?

First we will start with looking at the rating of each movie and one bad plus one good review from them.

Starting with the first ever live action Fantastic four movie “The Fantastic Four” filmed in 1994 but never officially released was made due to the fact that the film rights were expiring and a movie Had to be made to keep them. Starring Alex Hyde-white as reed Richards, Jay Underwood as Johnny Storm, Rebecca Staab as Sue Storm, and Michael Bailey Smith as Ben Grimm. It has a 3.8/10 on IMDB but that might be an effect of it never being released.

good fun movie on low budget

the fantastic four movie from co producer roger corman is a fun movie despite the low budget and flaws.the cast is very good,i know many people will disagree but i liked this better then the new fantastic four movie.the music on the soundtrack is awesome nd was later used as the opening theme music for show times;roger corman presents,i have to admit I'm a big roger corman fan and there's a lot of his movies i like. they picked good actors for this Alex Hyde white as Mr fantastic,Rebbecca staab as sue the invisible woman,jay underwood as johnny the human torch,Micheal Baily smith as Ben Grimm the thing and Joseph culp as Dr.doom.its campy and fun and there's a another villain a sort of mole man in the plot.on a bigger budget this would've been great but on what they had its pretty good.the make-up for the thing is sort of like the live action ninja turtle make-up.i know Stan lee was'nt happy about this little film,but i liked it.roger corman delivers a pretty good campy comic book movie on a low budget,few film makers can do that.Dr doom as played by Joseph culp is pretty creepy and more menacing then the Dr doom in the newer film.this film is a guilty pleasure.heres some trivia Jay underwood played sonny in the sonny and Cher movie,Joseph culp is the son of Robert culp(i spy) and Alex Hyde white is the son of the late Wilfred Hyde white.kudos to new horizons and roger corman for a fun movie. 8 out of 10 - vampi1960 on IMDB

The Fantastic Four: Clobbering......time?

I went in expecting cheese, I went in expecting something similiar to the 1990 Captain America or even the 1970's Spiderman but what I got was something altogether different.This origin story Fantastic Four movie cost 1 million dollars to make which back in 1994 made it a high budget film. The fact it isn't well known and considered mainstream is because it's so bad it's been brushed under the carpet.With embarassing special effects, a cast who simply can't be bothered and some ridiculous over the top performances & soundtrack the whole thing is truly abyssmal.I don't know what it is with the Fantastic Four but cinematically they just can't get a break. Maybe when they finally get added to the Marvel Universe they'll have their day but for now I think the 2005 movie is the best one going.The Fantastic Four is like Batman Forever (1995) made by kindergarteners starring McDonalds workers.The Good:

I personally really enjoyed this movie and I saw it in imax, it is the first and only movie so far tobe watched in imax by me and I saw it with my friends the day it came out to the theatres. Now, onto the reviews;

Starting with our bad review

Was I supposed to feel anything ?

The movie was bland. Story and action both were meh.. As a fan of the superhero genre I was hugely disappointed both by the movie and by the critics hyping it up.You hardly see anything "heroic" being done that gets your heart pumping nor are you invested in any of the Fantastic Four. The power scaling makes zero sense at different parts of the movie, Galactus is nerfed to the max (to the point of being silly) and this universe has the stupidest / most gullible NPCs ever. This is exactly how the conversation goes with them, NPCs - "oh no the world is going to end, you can't save us" F4 - "we will save you don't worry" NPCs - (panic over and tears in their eyes) "ok"Save the money, buy something on the Steam sale. Clearly this guy did not like the movie, leaving before the credits on a movie this good is insane.

Now onto our good review:

The Fantastic Four that we have all been longing for!

Finally, we have a real Fantastic Four movie! With incredible story, great special effects, but more importantly great acting by Pedro Pascal Vanessa Kirby, who lead the cast. While other versions of the fantastic four in someway, shape or form have been OK to watch and somewhat entertaining, this is a true superhero movie! Very pleased in how the time period that they set the film, as well as the interactions of what seem to be real news footage but of course is just made for this movie. - smittydrj

In conclusion there are some people who like fantastic four and some people who don’t know a good movie when they see one, Fantastic four first steps is the MCU’s first step back into the spotlight of super hero movies and I am excited to see what more they can do in the future.
