Artificial Intelligence is already becoming a part of everyday life for many individuals. It’s used in education, technology, media, and communication. As it continues to improve, it will shape how people live, work, and learn. This includes my generation, and the question “will AI improve our future or make it harder?” arises.

The Positive Impact
AI has the possibility to improve access to knowledge and education. Learning can become faster, and students can get support any time that they need it. It also creates various new careers in science, engineering, medicine, and much more. It can also improve systems such as transportation, research, and healthcare, making them more accessible and efficient. This article talks about how AI is creating more jobs, just with a different focus.
The Negative Impact
AI will and has been replacing many jobs, such as minimum wage and creative careers. There are also many privacy concerns since AI relies on data and personal data that is stored. Another big risk that has been researched by HAI is that AI wants data and collects our personal information more than the internet does. Along with this, individuals are beginning to rely on AI to help make choices or do schoolwork, which will decrease their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
What This Means
AI itself is not positive or negative, it just depends on how it’s being used and what precautions are being taken to keep yourself safe. If I rely on it to think for me, it will become a problem, but if I use it responsibly, it becomes a tool. In the near future, individuals are going to have to learn how to adapt to these changes and develop skills that technology can’t replace.
